In February 2013, an exceptional album is to be released in Poland. Krzysztof Herdzin, coming in handy for miscellaneous musical projects, is working on an album of his own. It is to include a number of songs composed to poems by Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński and Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer, and feature three guest singers: AMJ, Dorota Miśkiewicz, and Grzegorz Turnau. According to Krzysztof Herdzin: ” It’s a jazz album, with touches of ambient, film score, and the ECM style. The linchpin is my trio (myself, Robert Kubiszyn, and Cezary Konrad); besides, synthesizers, percussion instruments, and a number of “whistles” played by me—bass clarinet, tenor saxophone, Western concert flute, Irish whistle—are involved. Also, Marek Napiorkowski contributes to one song as the only guest musician”.
