3 x Freedom – concert to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the August Agreements in Szczecin.
Concert “3 x Freedom” is search for the idiom of freedom, common for many generations and events in the history of our country. This desire to delve into universal values, not just to the narrative on a particular event. On local level, it refers to the history of a “young” Polish city, whose inhabitants had struggled with the concept of freedom in subsequent moments in history – during World War II or under the martial law. That concept of freedom accommodates all forms of emancipation and creative development: at present the success of Oscar-winning Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, as well as prestigious Grammy-awarded Włodek Pawlik may be examples of the latter in the field of musical arts.
